Taxi and Car Hire
There are jeeps and four wheel drive vehicles for hire on the island. It is essential to
have transport to the beach as the village is several miles from the sea, not so popular
with visitors but essential for those who live through here through the dangerous
hurricane season, which is June to November. It is also possible to hire bikes or horses
and there are many people who run taxi services.

Day tours to Barbuda from Antigua
Barbuda is just a 15-minute flight away from Antigua and most of the tour operators in
Antigua offer day tours to the island which include visits to the Bird Sanctuary, the
beach and lunch in a local restaurant, with all transport provided. It is also possible to
book your own flight at the airport in Antigua, with Carib airlines, and arrange your own
transport or guide when you arrive.
