Catching a taxi is a good idea. There are plenty thoughout the island and
most drivers are friendly. Renting a car would be more difficult due to the narrow roads
and frequent potholes. If you would rather rent a car there are three rental places on the
island and you must purchase a St. Lucia driver’s license at the airport for $12.
